Frequency Domain Analysis of Load Frequency Control Using PIDTune Model Standard

The load frequency control system aims to regulate the in electric power at a normal value with predetermined tolerance limit. In practice, does not always operate optimally, therefore controller is needed be added system. designed variation of combination Proportional-Integral-Differential (PID) controllers standard model PIDTune method consisting proportional (P) controller, integral (PI) differential (PD) Proportional Integral Differential first-order filter on section (PDF), and (PIDF). This study aiming carry out simulation analysis domain then analyze robustness reheat type design PID for basic configuration, feedback feedforward cascade configuration using PIDtune Model Standard Matlab software. From results analysis, that complies criteria can make work optimally based proportional-integral gain margin (Kg) equals 38.11 dB, phase 59.6°, infinity bandwidth, peak resonance (Mr) 1.19, maximum sensitivity (MS) 1.24, complementary (MT) 1,17.
